Eligibility

- Assistant Grade III (Category III): Graduate degree relevant to the department applied for (General, Depot, Accounts, Technical, Movement), typing/computer proficiency required for some posts, maximum age 27 years (28 years for AG-III Hindi)
- Assistant Grade II (Hindi) and other Category III/IV posts: Post-specific educational qualification as notified, ranging from graduate degree to ITI/diploma depending on the post
- Age relaxation as per Government of India norms for SC/ST/OBC/PwBD/Ex-Servicemen candidates
- Indian citizenship required; final eligibility criteria to be confirmed in the official notification
Syllabus
- General English: Comprehension, grammar, vocabulary, sentence correction and error spotting
- Reasoning Ability: Puzzles, seating arrangement, coding-decoding, syllogism, blood relations, and analytical reasoning
- Numerical Aptitude: Data interpretation, simplification, percentage, ratio, profit-loss, time-speed-distance, and quadratic equations
- General Studies / General Awareness: Current affairs, static GK, economy, geography, and polity, with added emphasis on agriculture and Food Corporation-related topics
- Professional Knowledge (Category II Manager posts): Subject-specific paper for Technical, Accounts, Civil Engineering, Electrical & Mechanical Engineering, Depot and Movement streams
Exam Pattern
- Phase I (Category II & III): Objective online exam of 100 questions across English Language, Reasoning Ability, Numerical Aptitude and General Studies
- Phase II (Category II Manager posts): Professional Knowledge paper specific to the department applied for (Technical, Accounts, Depot, Movement, General, Civil/Electrical & Mechanical Engineering)
- Category III (Assistant Grade III): Single-phase objective exam; typing test/skill test for posts requiring it
