Eligibility

UPSC IES (Indian Engineering Services) 2026 is conducted by the Union Public Service Commission to recruit engineers for Class 1 technical posts in Central Government departments including the Military Engineering Service (MES), Central Water Commission (CWC), Central Public Works Department (CPWD), Border Roads Organisation (BRO), and Indian Railways. The exam fills 500+ vacancies across four engineering disciplines: Civil, Mechanical, Electrical, and Electronics and Telecommunication.
