Eligibility

  • Level 1 (Class 1–5): Senior Secondary (12th) with 50%+ marks AND 2-year D.El.Ed, or B.El.Ed, or graduation with B.Ed
  • Level 2 (Class 6–8): Graduation with 50%+ marks AND 2-year D.El.Ed or B.Ed (relevant subject)
  • Age limit: 18 to 40 years with relaxation for reserved categories
  • Rajasthan domicile preferred for state teacher recruitment based on REET score

  • Level 1 (Primary, Class 1–5): 150 MCQs — Child Development (30), Language I (30), Language II (30), Maths (30), EVS (30), 2.5 hours
  • Level 2 (Upper Primary, Class 6–8): 150 MCQs — Child Development (30), Language I (30), Language II (30), Science/Social Studies (60), 2.5 hours
  • Each correct answer: 1 mark; No negative marking
  • Minimum qualifying marks: 60% (90/150) for General; 55% (82/150) for SC/ST/OBC/PWD
  • REET certificate is valid for a lifetime (permanent validity)
